I've placed my order, when will it arrive?

Folk'n'crafty is a small, family-run business we run from home. Orders are shipped using AnPost which proves to be reliable and pretty quick. Please be aware that delivery times vary depending on the destination.

Orders will be processed within 2-3 working days and then shipped out to you. Our carrier has provided the following estimates for how long your package could take to arrive:

  • Ireland (ROI & NI): Usually next working day after your order is shipped.
  • UK & Europe: Usually 3-5 working days after your order is shipped.
  • Rest of the world: Usually 7-10 working days after your order is shipped.

Please account for Processing time PLUS Shipping time when placing your order.

If you need your order to arrive for a special date, order well in advance. We just can't provide guaranteed delivery dates. Thanks for understanding :)

If your order hasn't shown up, please CONTACT US and we can look into what might be holding things up.

All International orders are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.

I've changed my mind, can I return or exchange it?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Some items are considered final-sale and are not returnable.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for the full details.

My order is damaged, what do I can?

We're sorry to hear that.

As with all orders, please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Contact us using the contact page or send an email tohello@folkncrafty.com.

Do your products have a warranty?

Upcycling is at the core of Folk'n'Crafty. The materials we use have had at least one former life and and often bear the scars of these former lives. We invest significant time and energy into our reclamation, preparation and build processes to offer quality goods.

With that acknowledged, we will gladly mend or replace items free of charge if our craftsmanship or material is flawed.

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or care, daily wear and tear, or damages due to accidents.

Please follow the submission process below to initiate a warranty submission:

  • Submit photos, order number/receipt and detailed description of defect via the CONTACT FORM.
  • The product will be evaluated and if deemed eligible for warranty, a return shipping label will be provided to mail the defective product back.
  • Once received, We will either repair or replace the defective item and ship promptly at no additional cost.

For more information about returns, exchanges or refunds, please review our Refund Policy.

Do you do custom orders?

Great question. The answer is, perhaps. Custom orders can be tricky to get just right and we don't want to serve up something that's half-baked.

Given we work with salvaged materials, we need to be sure that, at the time of request, we'll be able to meet your request - we're talking material textures, characteristics and colours and the accompanying hardware to complete the job.

In addition, there's often specific details needed for the form or fit of the requested item. For example a snug fitting frame bag for your bike is likely to need sending us a physical paper/cardboard tracing to work from.

Requests for modifications to an existing design, or those for a new, unique pattern to be developed, can mean hours of additional work before the job even gets to the sewing machine.

Understandably, the price for custom items reflects the added hours involved. If you're keen on that custom look and fit that you've always wanted, we're happy to have that conversation.

To have a chat about a custom job, send a message using our contact page or email hello@folkncrafty.com.

I'd like to donate some material!

There's a lot of potential out there -textiles, hardware and more - that has a high upcycling value for what we do. If you're in Ireland and might have a lead on something please give us a shout.

Check out our DONATIONS page for more details.
